What size drill bit to use with #8 sheet metal screw?

If you are drilling into solid metal you need to drill the hole and tap threads into it. Sheet metal screws are not the best screw to use. I would use machine screws or bolts. Stainless if it is outdoors. Match the tap to the screw. The tap should have marking that will tell you what size drill to use. It would also be best to use cutting oil when drilling. Drilling into iron will be tough going and you may break a couple bits before you are done. You may even break a tap.

I actually have 2 questions they both pertain to my son. He recently applied for a loan and was denied due to a lack of good history. When we looked into the situation we found that the last 3 loans he paid in full without any delinquencies were at our local business credit union. When we went there to ask them to report his good credit they stated that they were unable to due to the technology that the credit bureau’s use. This sound fishy to me. Also I have an alert watch on my credit and I was notified that an address was checked on my credit which happens to be my sons address. He has never lived at this address (we have only lived here for 2 years) and I have never lived at his address. I was not listed on his loan app except for next closed living relative at a different address. Should this have hit my credit report and should I do anything about it?

We booked a mover, cancelled now he is threatening to sue us. Help?

Hi there, a moving company is threating to sue us and reposses our furniture. We had him booked to move on a Sunday in Calgary AB. We decided to move our selves and not use the mover. We did not tell him right away. He asked us to call to confirm the move on the Saturday before the booked move. This is when we told him we would not require his services. He said ok. Then a few hours later he told us he is going to sue us and repossess our furniture to recoup losses. We never signed anything. We sent him 2 emails stating our addresses and times we would like to move. He never replied to the emails. We did talk on the phone prior to the move and this is when he told us to call Saturday to confirm. We did not realize it was a confirm or be sued situation. He never told us a cancellation policy nor does his website state one. He never emailed us, or told us over the phone. We did not sign a contract but agreed on the phone. He is saying the emails we went confirms the contract not the phone call he asked us to make to confirm. What do you think? We are waiting right now to see what he does (if anything) before contacting a lawyer.

I work in Health Insurance and I have to send the majority of my emails through encrypted email and it needs to be HIPAA compliant. Caring mother or a little overbearing?

I have a dell xps with an i7 proc, is it hard to install a tv tuner?

It is very easy. U just use the ons on the top and bottom of the PC (u need to lay it on the ground sideways, then remove the side panel, unlock the PCI slots, (there is a lever or a screw that needs to be release. Remove the strip of metal covering the slot and install your TV tuner. Secure it with the screw, then replace the side panel. Now start ur PC up (u know that you have to do this with the PC unplugged from power, right?) and see if it works. If it doesn't, u may need to install extra software that came with the tuner.

I have been clear of malignant melanoma for 2years now. I have been having extreme pain in my left groin/abdomen area during my period. I was at the gyn yesterday to get a hysteroscopy done under local anaesthetic but she just about got a smear done, and refused to carry on as it was causing too much pain. Antibiotic for my skin is making me feel very sick?

What can I do about water for home use?

I hate the taste of my tap water, added to the fact that it leaves a brownish-yellow deposit on whatever it touches. I tried buying bottled water, but it doesn't taste much better than the tap water. I use roughly 2 gallons a day for drinking and food preparation and at $1.79 a gallon, that's over $100 a month to buy water and lug it home. I tried to get a home delivery service of spring water, but they require payment by credit card, which I don't have. Then I considered something like a Britta filtration system, but question if it can filter the copious quantities I require and the hle of changing the filters periodically. Ok, so here's the whole story. In late February I left varsity softball practice early to go to a basketball tryout. My coach didn't questian why I left, she just umed that I had a doctors appointment or something. So the coach sent 3 people at a time after the ball (he would throw it randomly) so of course when I was up he bounced it real high. I knew I could get it which I did but on the way down I fell on it sideways and landed completely on that ankle. I fell on the floor (still holding the ball) and it was BURNING!!!! I truer to p the ball but pretty much threw it... :/ I couldn't get up and I felt like a retard! I finally got up and tried to walk back over to the wall and somehow made it there. It was burning like crazy and I couldn't move it at all. Finally I got my dads attention and called him over to where I was and so I walked back with him and sat where he was and put my foot up. My dad was like "i can wrap it for u and then you can go back out" I was like dad I can't even move it... So I just sat there the rest of the time... :( ..... I went home and my parents made me go out and get an ankle brace. So I did but I had to use crutches when I went. I got a brace and went back home and iced my ankle. Then I had to text my softball coach and I told her that I hurt it and that I couldn't really run (total understatement) so then I went to softball practice (my mom told me to bring the crutches but I refused) so I hobbled to practice and explained to my coach what happened and she was so ticked off!!! Anyway after 3 days I continued playing sports (in discomfort and a little pain) and I couldn't sit pretzel styled for like two months... Anyway now it pops when I make circles with it and I still don't have the same motion I did before but the popping is really wierd and I can see it popping!!! The swelling was insane! I also had a LOT of SHARP pain when I touched anywhere above the rounded part of the outside of my ankle what should I do now?????

White Cratered Bump And Feeling Sick?

So about a week ago I discovered a red little bump in my pubic hair. There was a hair in the middle of it so I pulled the hair out. Now about a week later that bump is bigger, but it's like...picture a moon crater. It's like that and it's white in the middle. Two days ago I woke up and felt bad. I still feel bad today. My lower back is sore, I'm very tired, and I've had super watery diarrhea since yesterday. The thing is the symptoms have been coming and going. Like last night I felt fine after I had been feeling crummy all day. Then I woke up feeling crummy again. My appetite is still there, I've been eating fine. It is not very big, however when I touch it it feels like there are bumps there, but I can't see any. Please help me. The bump is also somewhat itchy, but only for a split second. I played and beat AC2 a while back, and I recently was looking at my trophies and noticed I only needed 3 trophies to get the platinum. But I have bought a new ps3 and all my data was saved on my old PS3. So, I grabbed my trusty USB stick, plugged it into my old PS3 and, tried to copy the AC2 save file to the USB. But when I selected copy it only gave me the option to copy to Online Storage. When I try to copy any other game file I can copy it to my USB, so why not AC2? My Dog Has Really Smelly Farts!?

My husband and I have a 8 year old 90lb Lab/Dobberman Mix and she has some of the smellest farts EVER. They smell like stale/rotten popcorn. I know she isn't eating the best food, she is on pedigree, we're wanted to switch her over to something better, but we aren't sure what? Anyone have any ideas on what would be a good food? It needs to be relatively inexpensive, times are hard for everyone, but it needs to be good for her. Also, her smellyness has just recently started, I know she isn't getting into anything in the house, our trashcan is covered and no food is left out and she isn't allowed people food and our cats litter box and their food is out of her reach, so it has to be from outside. Also do not wear liptick, stick to lip gloss instead for a really nice and juicy lip. Also use lengthening mascara for popping eyes! And depending on your skin tone, use a really eye-catching eyeshadow. For example if you are tanned, like me, use dark purple eyeshadow like me.Also for popping eyes use liquid or pencil eyeliner. If you have a lot of blemishes and spots on your face then get liquid foundation or powdered. If you want it to stay longer then liquid is better for oily skin but it is messier. I personally think you should choose the foundation carefully because it cannot be too fair compared to your skin or it cannot be too dark. Be careful! He's a great catch, except….. he picks his nose! Ok, I've been dating this guy for 3 months now and everything is going great except that he has the (very gross) habit of picking his nose in front of me. well someone thought it would be funny to cut a hole in the back of my barcley hollow body guitar and pull all the electronics out... well i bought new nobs 2 tone and 1 vol and a new three way toggle switch its the same stuff that was in there b4 only newer and i have to pickups one bridge pickup and 1 neck pickup each has a red, black, and green wire coming from them i followed a two diagrams i found on the internet the guitar worked the toggle switch worked but both tones and the vol dont work i dont know y on the tones i used a bigger cap then they said but it should at least word still and the vol didnt request a cap i dont know what to do next the pickups work fine and the diagram had a newer pickup with four wires instead of three but i connected the green wire to the output jack, the black to the ground and the red ones one to each tone... i dont know what to do now maybe an older diagram for this guitar? 10 points?

Actually a bridge is a point and shoot with some SLR type controls. Fuji makes them and they're excellent but new... not for $300... you won't get near one for that.

I go the the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Its an amazing school and its fully acredited, and all of the professors are working professionals (not a bunch of retired artists) so that way, you always know what is the current industry standard. When I was considering coming here, I also researched the Art Institute in SF and I was not impressed at all, it seemed more like an overpriced trade school rather than an art university. Art schools are generally better than regular universities with art departments.

This is with no doubt the ignition switch, I had the same problem in my 1998 Accord exactly as described. I just recently had the recall performed and havent had the problem since. What happens is the metal contacts in the car were wearing prematurely and the turning off and back on, while driving was a brief loss of connection with the contact. It is not the starter because once the car is running it will not turn off and on because the starter has nothing to do with the car once running. Just tell them that you are not going to do it anymore. Tell them that you had no choice at 5 to start doing all of those things and that if they cared at all about how you feel that they would realize those things are what they want not what you want. If they tell you that you will get fat, tell them that is fine. You can always lose the weight later but you would rather be fat then miserable and depressed for the rest of your life. If that fails, well then the only thing you can do is to move out when you are of age. Check the laws in your state and find out if the age is 16 or 18. Maybe then they will realize you are serious.

this idea doesn't really go with steaks but here any ways! we like to make home made potato chips while your doing all the preparations turn your oil on so it will be mice and hot. you need enough oil to deep fry them next Peel the potato's with your potato peeler wash them then get your potato peeler again and slice the potato with the peeler long ways or short way. deep fry them little by little and fry them until there light brown and crispy. take them out and put them in a strainer and toss with salt. my kids eat the plain but me and my husband eat them with a pre made hot sauce like louisiana its called velentina.

How did you decide on a major/career? How am I supposed to know what I want to do?

I've been in college for two years and changed my major once (so far). I was a medic in the Army and thought, after I got out, that being a surgical tech was what I wanted. I quickly decided against it. I don't want to deal with illnesses and death anymore. I'm currently going for a general arts degree, but I really have no idea what I want to do. I've thought about being a teacher, writer, police officer (or something else related), museum curator, appraiser, real estate agent, and numerous other careers. The only thing I knew I wanted to be is a mom, which I already am. Every time I take a new cl in college I think, "That's fascinating! How can I make a career out of it?" So far, I've come up empty handed or found out the careers I thought I'd like were vastly different than I had imagined. I love ancient history, chemistry, english (writing mostly) and so many other subjects that I don't know how to decide on anything. How did you know what you wanted to do? How many times have you changed your mind? Any advice?

i married my husband not because i was blind with happiness and love,and attraction, like some people experience. I wasn't. i was preatty clear headed, but i couldn't imagine my life without him. now i look at people, and i see some that are so in love, and, without wanting, doubts and fears come upon me. and sometimes i wonder, 'did i miss my true love?' since, i didn't feel those feelings of hopelessness, huge erflies, ecstasy etc., did i settle for second best? yes, maybe some will think so. but the truth is, i would never leave my husband. he is a wonderful man, who would give his life for me any second. i love him very much also. is it possible for love to grow after you married? is it possible for our relationship to grow to that perfect love, even if i didn't feel those feelings at the beginning? could he be the one anyhow? does someone have a similar story? thanx :)

this has to do with my right eye (not that it really matters) But, its always been my less dominant eye. i joined the military and ended up having to shoot left handed because i could not see well at all (with gles) down the sights of my rifle. when i close my left eye to shoot or to...wink at the ladies?, its very fuzzy, and when i focus on things, my vision goes black. sometimes, it hurts, most of the time not. As anyone could guess, its very bothersome. ive looked into cataracts, as well as glaucoma, both have small indicators, but i feel like they both are not whats wrong. i hope im not losing my vision.
