My cat seems to relish & lap up Fancy Feast but seems lukewarm to the healthier brands?

How bad can Fancy Feast get if given regularly. I don't feel too comfortable doing that though, but he really relishes some flavors from that line. When I give him healthier brands, he seems to be halfhearted about them and not have those to his heart's content. I have tried Wellness, Blue Buffalo, EVO and Felidae. I do want him to eat well and not lose weight so I am not able to decide.
