Who has seen the Warriors?

Anyone here seen the Warriors? In was a movie made back in the 70's about a gang in New York who are framed for murdering a war lord, and have to fight rival gangs to make it back home to Coney Island. Well I love the movie and think it's a clic. Then of course a few days ago I came to find out that they're going to make a remake coming out next year!!! What are your thought of signiture movies getting remade these days?
