Has government degenerated down to nothing but a reverse Robin Hood?

Government has become nothing but one big extortion racket. Just think of how Obama bailed out his AIG executive buddies with our money. Has he personally bailed you out? You all are idiots if you think this is somehow going to trickle down to you. The only trickling I feel is getting pissed on the back by the government. Face it, our government and society is no longer free but has degenerate down to a quasi sort of feudal system that was present in medieval Europe. The feudal system did the same thing in which they taxed the commoners to give to the kings and noblemen. When will humanity ever learn?
