Do I need the ignition switch recall performed?

This is with no doubt the ignition switch, I had the same problem in my 1998 Accord exactly as described. I just recently had the recall performed and havent had the problem since. What happens is the metal contacts in the car were wearing prematurely and the turning off and back on, while driving was a brief loss of connection with the contact. It is not the starter because once the car is running it will not turn off and on because the starter has nothing to do with the car once running. I could possibly be a battery cable but these cars are not known for that issue.
